MUMBAI: Geodesic Limited has announced the launch of Mundu Radio for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
Mundu Radio is a mobile application that lets users tune into unlimited streaming audio content anywhere, anytime directly from their mobile device.
It bundles music, content (such as news and sports) and personalisation for an easy-to-use, intuitive mobile entertainment experience. Users can either select and playback streams from existing Internet radio stations, or they can create and manage personalized play lists, enabling users to listen to their choice of music genres and songs whenever they like.
Geodesic has partnered with a number of providers that enable anytime access to an unlimited number of Internet radio stations from around the globe. In addition to its consumer offering, Geodesic offers an end-to-end Mundu Radio solution for wireless carriers to help them increase Average Revenue per User (ARPU) through data and SMS usage.
Mundu Radio has been deployed with leading carriers and handset manufacturers throughout India, Asia, Europe and the U.S. In addition to the iPhone, the Mundu Radio client currently supports more than 100 popular handsets based on J2ME, Symbian, Windows Mobile, Blackberry and Palm OS platforms.
