MUMBAI: Neelesh Misra is that one small town guy who follows all his passions lucratively instead of cribbing about not being able to churn out adequate time out of his nine-to-nine schedule as we all do.

After penning down some great lyrics and coming up with intellectual reading material, the passionate writer has his palette full of Bollywood projects.

I am currently working on director Sudhir Mishra's next Tera Kya Hoga Johnny. I will be writing two tracks for the film,... revealed 37-year old Misra who is lovingly known as BlackBerry Shaayar' among his friends.

The protagonist of the film, Johnny will be played by Sikander Agarwal who is a tea boy on the streets of Mumbai and dreams of having a better life in Dubai. The cast of the film includes Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kay Kay Menon, Soha Ali Khan, Karan Nath and Sahana Goswami. The music of the film will be composed by not-very-popular Pankaj Awasthi and Ali Azmat

The story-teller is full of activity and sets an example of the fact that, â€?We never get the time but we have to take out the required time to do what we desire to do in life.'

Apart from Tera Kya Hoga Johnny, the roving writer is also working on a script for a film under the Yash Raj banner. He will be co-writing it with Kabir Khan who is also directing the film

Misra said, I am taking a greater involvement in this film by doing its script, dialogues as well as the lyrics....

Juggling his career as a journalist with being a screenplay writer, lyricist, amateur photographer and an author, Misra is the creative mind behind a few hits from the films Anjaana Anjaani, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, Jism, Woh Lamhe, Gangster, Jannat and many others.

Moreover the film It's My Life' is another project that's keeping me busy as of now. I am penning down the lyrics for the entire album. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee,... he further added.

Produced by the couple Boney and Sridevi Kapoor, It's My Life' is a remake of the superhit Telugu film Bommarillu. It stars Harman Baweja, Genelia D'Souza and Nana Patekar in lead roles. The film is due for release on 26 November.

Misra is doing a lot of things at one time. He is also set to release an album with his band Nine' by October. The album consists of nine tracks based on the theme of nostalgia, the feeling that one goes through sometime or other in life.

Other than his Bollywood projects, Misra is waiting for the launch his fourth book 'The Absent State', co-written with Rahul Pandita and scheduled 24 September by Hachette India Publishers. The book talks about conflict and insurgency over the past two decades in South Asia, traveling deep into the rebel heartlands of Kashmir, Naxalite areas and the north-east.
