Miley Cyrus to headline first Australian iHeartRadio Music Festival

MUMBAI: KIIS 1065, the Australian radio station and Dainty Group, the Australian live entertainment company announced on Thursday, 28 August that the first iHeartRadio Australia Music Festival will feature pop powerhouse Miley Cyrus as well as many other artistes when it premieres in October.

Cyrus wowed audiences with her stellar performance and exciting stage show at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last year. Following the overwhelming success of the annual iHeartRadio event in the US, Australia will now experience the music festival.

Cyrus's latest album 'Bangerz' debuted at number one on both the Billboard Top 200 Album chart and the Digital Album Charts. Additionally, during release week, 'Bangerz' hit No. 1 on iTunes in over 70 countries. In Australia, 'Bangerz' has not only been a number one album, but has also achieved massive success with the singles 'Wrecking Ball' currently certified Quadruple Platinum and 'We Can't Stop' Triple Platinum.

US star and X Factor judge- Redfoo, YouTube sensation- At Sunset, rapper Miracle, and party–starter DJs The Faders have also just been announced as part of the Festival line-up, with more artistes to be announced shortly. The star studded line-up will hit the stage at Sydney's Allphones Arena on Saturday 18 October, kicking off at 4pm for more than six hours of back-to-back live music and DJ sets.
