Michael Jackson kept Bang Bang musicians and singers awake

MUMBAI: The title track of the movie 'Bang Bang' is already a chartbuster. The vocals of the song 'Bang Bang' are rendered by 'Badtameez Dil' singer Benny Dayal and 'Jiya Re' crooner Neeti Mohan.

Talking about the title track, Neeti Mohan said, "This title track of 'Bang Bang' happened very quickly. Vishal Dadlani called me in the morning asking me to record the track at 10 pm the same day."

"He asked me to sound sexy for the track. I went to the studio and the recording wrapped in no time. I did not even realise, "said Mohan.

After the track was recorded, Mohan, Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Ravjiani and Benny Dayal chatted all night about the mood of the song. "We danced more than we recorded. All of us got into the Michael Jackson mood and we just kept on talking about the track and MJ throughout the night," she added.

She also thanked the music producers Abhijit Nalani and Zoheb Khan and sound mixer- Praveen Muralidhar, for doing the brilliant job with the track.

It is the first time that Dayal and Mohan have teamed up for a Hindi song. "Benny and I have recorded songs together but it was our first Hindi song," stated Mohan.

The film has four songs and a reprised version, which is penned by Vishal Dadlani and Anvita Dutt Guptan.

The film is an official remake of the Hollywood film Knight and Day and features Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz played the lead role in the original.

The film is directed by Sidhharth Anand and is all set to hit the silver screens on 2 October 2014.
