Maxus takes home three Emvies radio awards

MUMBAI: At the 9th Emvies Awards 2009 held by Ad Club in Mumbai on Friday, it was Group M's media agency Maxus that outshone the rest to bag three awards in the Best Media Innovation -Radio category.

Maxus, which had secured three nominations, cornered the bronze award in the Best Media Radio Innovation category for Vodafone and also grabbed a silver for Nokia 5800 Xpress Music for the same. TME also won bronze for Parle G in the same category while Madison Media Infinity won the silver award for Saffola Life- Listen to Your Heartbeat.

In the Best Media Strategy- media/media property category Digital Radio (Mumbai) shared the bronze award for Red FM Bajaate Raho Awards 2008 along with Lodestar Universal who won the award for Radio-City – Planet Radio City- How Radio City conquered cyber space.

Maxus grabbed the silver award yet again for Nokia 5800 Xpress Music in the Best Media Strategy- consumer durables category.

The awards for media innovation at the Emvies are given away for 14 categories oin Television, Radio, Print, Direct Marketing, Ambient Media/Out of Home (OOH), Digital, Cinema and Events segments. A total of 451 entries were received this year from media agencies nationally, out of which the jury shortlisted 60.
