MUMBAI: `Stardust` magazine along with Sony`s Hindi movie channel Max hosted the Max Stardust Awards on 18 February to honour excellence in Bollywood for various categories including music.
In the music category, composer Mithoon bagged the `Standout Performance by a Music Director` award for "Bas Ek Pal" from the movie Bas Ek Pal, while Virag Mishra won the `Standout Performance by a Lyricist` award for his song "Zinda hoon main" from "Zinda."
Meanwhile, Zubeen Garg was declared the winner in the category titled `new musical sensation - male` for his song Ya ali from Gangster and in the female category Rekha Bharadwaj took away the `new musical sensation - female` award for her song `Namak ishq ka` in the film Omkara.
Max will telecast the Kenstar Max Stardust Awards on Saturday 3 March at 9 pm.
