MUMBAI: American singer/songwriter Lana Del Rey's internationally acclaimed album 'Born to Die' has debuted at number two on Billboard Top 200.
The album has ranked at number one spot in six countries including UK, France, Germany, Ireland, Switzerland, and Austria. The album has sold over 800,000 copies worldwide and debuted in the top 10 charts of 15 countries.
In the UK, the album sold over 117,000 copies becoming the fastest selling album of the year while in France the album has set a record with highest first week digital sales, a record previously held by Coldplay.
'Born to Die' has been named Platinum in Ireland and France and Gold in UK, Austria, Germany, Poland and Switzerland.
