The new sibling of Times Music has earlier launched Anees Bazmee's two earlier movies, 'Welcome' and 'Singh Is Kinng', which later made headlines after the digital rights were sold for a record price to UTV New Media.

The score of Dusvidaniya has been composed by musical trio Kailash-Paresh-Naresh. The movie has been directed by Shashant Shah and produced by Azam Khan and Parvez Damania. Talking about the project, composer Paresh Kamat of Kailasa says, The album has six songs including three tracks sung by Kailash Kher and background vocals by Naresh and me, one track by Sony Niigaam, one rendered by Mohit Chauhan and one remix track. The songs have a nostalgic feeling of Mumbai city of the 1960's.... The lyrics have been penned by Kailash himself.

The film's cast includes Vinay Pathak, Rajat Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Ranvir Shorey among others. The music of Dusvidaniya is slated to launch on 16 October, accompanied by a Kailash Kher concert. Prior to this movie, the trio had composed for Pranali. Two other Bolywood movies in their kitty include Chandni Chowk to China and Allah ke Bande.

Junglee Music has also acquired the music rights of Khalbali hai khalbali', again by One More Thought Entertainment under the direction of Ajay Chandok. The movie starring Nikhil Dwivedi and 30 comedians, including Chunky Pandey, Rajpal Yadav, Suresh Menon, Johny Lever, Tiku Talsania among others is slated for a November 2008 release.

The music of the movie has been composed by musical duo Sajid-Wajid. The movie is a complete fun ride so we have keep the fun tempo high even in the songs,... states composer Wajid. Khalbali hai Khalbali has seven tracks including two remixes. We have experimented with sounds that are not heard in today's music like the sound of Khol, Nal etc. Then there is a modern qawalli track rendered by Sukhwinder. I have introduced a new singer Shahdab from a television reality show, apart from a female Pakistani singer Khadija Hyder and AD Boys,... he adds.

Other singers in the album include Wajid, Sukhwinder Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Neeraj Sridhar. The lyrics are written by Shabbir Ahmed and Jalees Sherwani. The lyrics are hilarious, like the one which has English, Marathi and Punjabi lyrics in a single track. I used to love the song, Kisi disco mein jaaye' and so we have composed a song matching it. It is an album for the common masses and the listeners will feel connected to the tracks....
