MUMBAI: Faruk Mehfuz Anam, better known as James in music circles, will launch his latest album Kaljamuna' in Bangladesh before Eid Ul Fitr by Sound Tech.

The artiste is returning to the Bangladesh pop scenario after a glitch of two years. James' last release of the artiste was Tufan in 2006. James' latest album will comprise 10 songs, five of which composed and written by the artiste, while the other five tracks have been written by Prince Mahmud and Neepu.

The album is a mix of rock, blue and folk. They have different human emotions to be portrayed in different songs. Most of the songs of the album are highly experimental in terms of presentation and composition. In most of the sound tracks, folk music has fused with psychedelic rock," says the artist.

James, who took three months to complete the album, says he has been busy with international performances and stage shows which kept him away from the pop scenario. The artiste however, has no plans to launch the album in India, although there are talks of James launching a Hindi album in India.

James marked his debut in Bollywood with Pritam's Gangster, with the Bheegi Bheegi' track. He then sang for Pritam's Woh Lamhe and Life In a Metro too. Previously, James was a member of the band Feelings but later broke away to form another band, Nagar Baul, in Bangladesh.
