MUMBAI: Ghazal King Jagjit Singh will perform a concert �Classical Revival Season 1: 2011-2012' at Sirifort Auditorium in New Delhi on 10 July.
The Ghazal proficient will perform on his classic ghazal such as �Hoton se choolo tum', �Tumko dekha to ye khayal aaya', �Hoshwalon ko khabar kya' and countless other famous soundtracks.
Speaking on Jagjit Singh's contribution to ghazals, poet and lyricist Sudarshan Faakir said, Jagjit came at a time when the stricken ghazal was about to kick the bucket, but his arrival breathed oxygen into it. For this service, ghazal lovers are forever indebted to him....
The three hour event is organized by Heritage Concert.
