MUMBAI: Google has further fueled rumours about the early commencement of its music service by hiring a music licensing attorney, Elizabeth Moody to spearhead label negotiation.
The search engine company has hired Elizabeth Moody, who previously worked at US legal firm Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes, where clients include Spotify, MySpace Music and MOG.
Moody is expected to start working at Google by beginning of August.
Google first launched a music search service in late 2009. But they are now working on a much more ambitious music service that will likely include streaming music. The new service will likely be called, simply, Google Music.
