Genius launches iPod speaker ?ô iTempo 800CD

Bangalore: Taiwan based Genius has extended its line of speakers for the iPods by introducing its latest iPod speaker- iTempo 800CD.

The iTempo 88CD is a 2.1 audio system equipped with an incorporated subwoofer, CD player, iPod dock, AM/FM tuner, USB flash disk slot and SD/MMC card slot. The AM and FM Tuner has 20 preset stations each.

Its compact all-purpose system and two built in 2 full-range drivers and one 4 woofer delivers up to 20 watts real RMS output power as per the official release. The music can be set EQ (Flat, Rock, Jazz, Classic and Pop) and Self EQ (Bass and Treble). Two line-in jacks for connecting to other audio sources and one headphone jack have been provided. A clock with alarm and wakeup and sleep features, an LCD for reading the display, a full function remote have also been provided.

The Genius iTempo 800CD, is available with Transtek, Ingram Micro and Redington , the authorized distributors for Genius in India. The price for Genius iTempo 800CD is 13500/- MRP, and comes with one year warranty.

Genius is the brand of KYE Systems, a Taipei based company with US$403 million revenues in 2006 that are expected to touch US$480 million in 2007.
