MUMBAI: Television format creator and distributor Fremantlemedia which will distribute the music awards event show, The Brit Awards 2008 globally has announced the first wave of musicians who will perform. The European awards show takes place in London on 20 February 2008.
Sir Paul McCartney, recipient of The Brit Awards 2008 award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, will be headlining the show with a performance. The show will also see performances from pop star Kylie Minogue and Rihanna along with British acts the Kaiser Chiefs, Mika and Mark Ronson.
