MUMBAI: Minutes after his death, reactions erupted all over the world from fans who have followed Michael Jackson's music, and the countless fans who have been inspired by his work – be it his music, iconic and over the top life or his signature dance moves. However, over the last few years, the various accusations, financial losses and the resulting stress had moved him into the dark shadows from the height of fame and fortune

Apparently, Michael Jackson planned 50-show run at the O2 Arena in London would have been the highest-grossing single concert if he was still alive. Now it's a major problem for the concert's promoter AEG Live. It is believed that more than $85 million worth of tickets have already been sold for the series of performances. The 'This Is It' print on the tickets appear sadly ironic now. As much as $30 million has already been spent on production according to industry experts

Singer and music director Raghav Sachar planned to attend his concert scheduled for next month, I was even planning on going to London for his comeback concert in July. I was really looking forward to it. This is an irreparable loss to the music industry and music lovers. There can never be another Michael Jackson. Icons are exclusive....

Jai Ho singer Sukhwinder Singh feels one doesn't really have to know him to feel the loss, I see him perhaps as the best performer that ever existed. One did not need to meet him to feel the loss. It is very sad to see that such a great and incredible superstar leave us so early. Watching him or listening to him was invigorating for musicians world over. Music lovers were waiting for his come back tours and they were all sold out concerts....

Everybody knows The King of Pop who passed at the age of 50 exerted a huge influence on Bollywood and Indian film industry. If we go back to the 1980s, one can clearly see Jackson's influence. Not just the 1980s, but even recent ones have been influenced by Jackson. People that were clearly influenced by Michael Jackson's music, fashion and dancing style were: Govinda, Hrithik Roshan, Bappi Lahri, Mithun Chakraborthy, Chiranjeevi and Prabhu Deva who was referred to as his Indian counterpart. The things that made entry into bollywood because of his fame were the sequined clothes, black shoes – white socks combination and the famous white glove which defined the Micheal Jackson's style

Agrees ace dancer and Choreographer Sandeep Soparkar, When I started dancing, it was all about his music and dancing. Though I don't follow his style of dancing, he was truly an inspiring figure and has inspired countless people to take up dancing as a profession,... says Soparkar.

Soparkar has worked with the likes of Madonna and Britney Spears, he says, I have heard so much about Micheal Jackson from Madonna and Britney. They all had very high regards for him as a person and for his onstage energy and the fact that he could give three hour performances – I don't think any artiste would find that easy to pull that off.... Apparently, Soparkar received the news about his demise at 4:00 am from his friend in America which he passed onto his other friends in the industry, I haven't slept since then,... he says. Soparkar would also be doing a tribute performance for Micheal Jackson at Zenzi tomorrow

A more dreamy message was posted by Ehsaan Noorani as his Facebook status, Michael Jackson .... please say hello from all of us to Jimi Hendrix , John Coltrane , Jaco Pastorius , Miles Davis , Jim Morrison , Kurt Cobain , Rick Wright and to all those brilliant musicians like yourself who are attending that biggest jam session in the sky !!!!! Rock On !!!!!...
