Biddu`s Shut Up and Dance arrives

Mumbai: Prolific composer Biddu releases his remix album tangily titled `Shut Up and Dance` with Universal which has 8 Tracks and the lead song of the album ?‹?“Soota..is his hit from the film Goonj (1989) . which has been sung by Shaan. The Video is directed by Shareen Mantri and it features Riya Sen and debutant Sameer Hans.

The Other tracks in the album are `Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai`, `Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi`, `Om Shanti Om`, `Dama Dum Mat Kaladar` and `Allah Hu` which are sung by Jayotsna, Pamela Jain, Rajnigandha, Javed Ali, Nihira Joshi, Richa Sharma and Nikita .

The album launch saw celebrities like Sophie Choudhry (VJ model and singer),Vikas Bhalla, Shareen Mantri, Asim Aerchant, Mamta Raja, Sanyh (singer from uae), Preeti Bhalla, Devang (dance master) and Meet Brothers.

Biddu Appaiah is an Indian-British music producer, composer and song-writer who produced and composed a number of music hits in the early part of the British Disco scene in the mid-1970s, lifting the careers of British Disco music stars Tina Charles, Carl Douglas, Jimmy James among others; he later found enormous success producing several hits in the Indian subcontinent, launching the career of Pakistani-British singer Nazia Hassan, and producing Indipop hits for a number of Indian acts, notably Alisha Chinai; from the mid-1970s he has also been producing his own pop instrumental albums as Biddu Orchestra.
