MUMBAI: BBC Hindi has revamped its programming lineup and introduced the changes on 16 Janurary 2010.
The station has renamed four of its shows and introduced three more shows in its programming lineup. The 6.30 am slot in the morning, Aaj ke din ek has been renamed as �Namaskar Bharat', the 8 am slot has been rechristened �Tees minute'. Aaj Kal, the show broadcasted at 7.30 in the evening has been renamed as �Dane bhar' and lastly, the 10.30 night slot has been recoined as �Is Waqt'.
Three news programmes have been introduced and two slots- �Vavichana' and �Apki baat BBC ke saath' have been pulled off air and will not be broadcast.
The new lineup of shows will be as follows:
Saturday: Prakriya aur reporter ki dairy/ Badalta Bharat
Sunday : Ek mulaqat ke sthaan par Sunday ke Sunday
Monday: Sports watch
Tuesday: BBC India Bol
Wednesday: Idhar Udar ki aur apki baari
Thursday: BBC bazaar karobar
Friday: BBC India bol
Airtel par new headlines
BBC has introduced this slot where Airtel subscribers can receive BBC headlines by dialing 5151sports headline by dialing 5152 from their handsets. These information will be updated throughout the day.
