Asia Sounds revamps Sutasi Asian music website

MUMBAI: Sutasi, a Singapore based contemporary Asian music TV talent hunt show, has re-launched its interactive website www.sutasi.com.

Sutasi is hosted by Asia Sounds, a global music publishing, talent management, television production and event broadcasting company led by Colleen Zulian.

The revamped site will feature latest music industry news and international festival tour listings, and has also come up with a global music community that will expose new original music from various parts of Asia.

Another interactive feature on the site is a worldwide music forum where music fans across the world can exchange their music knowledge with each other  The users can also vote for their favourite artist ensuring that their country is represented in the Grand Final for the Sutasi TV talent show, which will be held in the US in 2009.

Users can also download exclusive content including finalists' songs and  new ringtones. The website also has the complete Sutasi TV broadcast schedule.

The Sutasi talent show regional playoffs are within south east Asia, north east Asia and south Asia. Incidentally, the maximum number of finalists for the south Asia region in all the three categories - bands, soloists and song writers -  hail from India.

Band finalists -  Swarathma, Septic, Jalebee Cartel, Indigo Children (formally Superfuzz), East India Company, Bottleflower Seeds  and Cassini's Division 

Songwriter finalists - Caralisa Monteiro and Siddharth Coutto

Soloist finalists - Aparna, Joshua Queah, Nikhil D'Souza and the sole finalist from Nepal, Dimple Singh Nandra.
