MUMBAI: Rajasthan Patrika's radio station FM Tadka has promoted Alok Sharma to the post of CEO from 1 September.

Sharma has replaced Deepak Vohra, who now heads national ad sales for Rajasthan Patrika. Sharma has been associated with the company since 1996. Before being promoted to the post of CEO, he was heading the marketing team of the group, a responsibility that Sharma will continue to shoulder.

Vohra was the CEO of Tadka for the two years since its inception. Sharma now wants to bring in more listeners and advertisers for the radio station. We stand number one according to the IRS survey in Jaipur. I want to bring more business to the radio station by giving better content and programmes to our audience," he says. The currently programming line up however, will only be tweaked if listeners demand it, he adds.

Tadka FM is functional in Jaipur, Kota and Udaipur positioned for the youth from 16-35 years.
