MUMBAI: Aiming to provide a quick dose of musical information to ardent fans, Marathi music channel 9X Jhakaas will launch a show called ‘Jhakaas Sound Check’. Premiering on 1 May, Maharashtra Day, the short format show will provide Marathi music lovers a peek into the lives of Marathi music maestros.
The show will feature eminent names from the Marathi music industry and will include popular Marathi singers, music directors, lyricists, music arrangers and more. The celebrities will share anecdotes of their life, their struggle and success stories, along with a segment showcasing unplugged versions of a few of their special songs.
The first episode will feature acclaimed singer Vaishali Samant of ‘Aika Dajiba’ fame, who will share insights, trivia and interesting anecdotes about her musical journey. Every month two celebrities will share their memories and milestone moments that made them reach their stardom.
