MUMBAI: 9X Jhakaas, will air the Bhima festival of Kolhapur on 8 June at 8 pm with a repeat on 9 June at 10 am and 8 pm.
9X Jhakaas Music Yatra -the travelling musical platform will be airing entertaining concerts with performances by well known artists from the Marathi film, television and music industry.
The fest includes performances by Neha Pense, Deepali Sayyad and Mrunmayee Deshpande among others and comedy by Abhijit Chavan and Kamlakar Satpute.
Actor Abhijit Khandkekar has hosted the show for 9X Jhakaas where he has also captured interesting places in Kolhapur. The famous ‘Camera Stambh’ dedicated to the first Indian Video Camera, the Ganga Ves Doodh Katha where the buffalos are named after famous Marathi TV stars and many other interesting locations are featured on the show. The famous eating joints of Kolhapur, the sugarcane juice joints, the lane for Kolhapuri Chappals, etc are also part of the show.
