MUMBAI: Patriotism could well be the in-thing now with the Made In India initiative by Shailendra Singh making waves already.

A charity celebration drive on the first day of the year to create awakening of happiness, Made In India celebration asks us to be proud to be Indian.“When Bombay is Mumbai, Madras is Chennai, shouldn’t India be Bharat,” Shailendra Singh in a sentence, puts our minds to work.

An initiative to make us proud of being Indian, the activity on New Year will have a national footprint including Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai amongst others.

What else could be a better way to ring out the old and bring in the new than with upbeat remix patriotic songs, national anthem being sung by funky, trendy youth who are proud to be Made In India. Need we say that before the new year comes in, Made In India fever is already catching up with the celebs and masses alike.
