Radio Misty RJ hunt at career fair

MUMBAI: Always dreamt of becoming a popular radio jockey (RJ). Well, here is a chance for the youth of North Bengal and Sikkim to display their talent, wit and humour and also to entertain the listeners. Radio Misty 94.3 fm, first and number one fm station of North Bengal is hosting the Misty RJ Hunt in the largest career fair of the region at Siliguri, wherein the winner will get an opportunity to train and work as an RJ with Radio Misty .From the very first of the event students lined up at the stall of Radio Misty to fill forms for RJ hunt.

The three-day career fair event organised by sape communications   in collaboration with Radio Misty will showcase students awaiting their ISC, CBSE and higher secondary exams a gamut of academic and professional courses available in India and abroad. The fair have representatives of over 100 leading educational institutions from India and abroad.

Apart from north Bengal, students from as far as lower Assam, Nepal ,Sikkim and Bhutan participate in the career fair.The institutes present will  give information on courses in advertising, fashion designing, graphic designing, management, information technology and mass communication.

Speaking about this talent hunt, Nishant Mittal, chief executive officer, Radio Misty said, Through the Misty RJ Hunt we are looking for youngsters who are skillful, verbally talented and confident and have a good ear for music. We believe that this region has rich talent and all that these youngsters require is a platform to express themselves, which we are offering. This is definitely a move in the right direction for those aspiring for a career as an RJ.The response we got from the very first day is overwhelming. This event will be started in all major colleges of the region.
