MUMBAI: Radio Misty 94.3 fm, the first and Number one fm station of North Bengal and Sikkim is Official Radio Partner to Indian Tea Forum — The World Cup of Tea in Siliguri from October 4 to 6 to promote Tea. This Event is hosted by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) in association with the Tea Board of India and Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority.
Central and state ministers and experts will deliver speeches on matters concerning the industry at the programme.This Forum, a premier marketplace for the tea industry and the largest tea trade show and conference of its kind.
This is the first initiative to focus on promotion of Teas from Darjeeling Dooars and Terai, one of the finest and exotic teas like Darjeeling orthodox, Green Tea, quality CTC from Dooars and Terai as the world class Tea which will be one of the largest destination among the domestic and international buyers. The three day forum would be preceded by a conference on marketing, advertisement, packeting, export, and import among tea stake holders. This tea carnival is an opportunity for tete-a-tete with vast buying community from India and abroad, manufacturers, wholesalers, packagers, distributors and suppliers, an exclusive opportunity to meet potential clients from around the world.
It will provide a platform for exploration of new avenues of interaction displaying of different types of Teas, Machines, Organic products like manures, pesticides, packing materials. Similarly, it will be one of the largest plat form for the Buyers to meet all the producers, to interact and see varieties of teas displayed in the stall followed by the tasting session, the first of Tea Park presentation and Garden Visit.
