Nine FM celebrates 60th Republic Day

MUMBAI: NINE FM the contemporary FM station of North Bengal & Sikkim celebrated the 60th Republic Day.

NINE FM started the day by hoisting the Indian flag in the office and with the National Anthem. Republic Day messages by NINE RJs were also aired on NINE on 91.9FM.NINE FM listeners too were given an opportunity to express their love for their nation through on-air messages.

To mark the day, NINE Activation Team along with various college students & xKmph.com a biking community of India took out a Peace Bike Rally. The rally was flagged off from NINE FM office.

The entire team visited every favourite destination of the youth in and around Siliguri. The main motive of this rally was to resurrect and instill patriotism among the citizens of Siliguri.

Playing only the latest hits, NINE has carved out a niche for themselves as being North Bengal & Sikkim's only modern & contemporary station. Besides infotaining the listeners, NINE FM takes it social responsibilities very seriously.

NINE on 91.9FM in association with Bhaktinagar Traffic Guard is organizing a Traffic Week. Through this traffic week, NINE FM intends to educate the people of safety road measures.

Nine FM, Siliguri organized the Bike Rally to pay its tribute to the martyrs of the Independence struggle and to the mentors of independent India this Republic Day.
