MUMBAI: Marking a year gone by since the terrorist attacks in Mumbai on November 26, 2008, 94.3 MY FM devoted the entire day on-air by bringing positive sentiments of solidarity, preparedness, pride and also living life fully without fear. Also remembering the lives lost and the courage shown by Indians, MY FM dedicated the day to the theme of Hum Hai!...Jiyo Dil Se!...
As an important dedication to preparedness, MY FM RJs took government authorities on-air questioning them on whether we are better equipped to handle such a crisis as compared to last year. Apart from government authorities, MY FM also took local listeners on-air to speak Mumbai attacks and other acts of terrorism which have affected their lives.
The radio station also planned a candlelight vigil in support of the Mumbai terror victims and martyrs, to show solidarity and bring spirit of togetherness and community.
On this initiative 94.3 MY FM Synergy Media Entertainment Ltd COO Mr. Harrish M. Bhatia remarked, As a radio station that is close to the hearts of people, we wanted to be able to deliver a platform where listeners can reminisce and pay tribute to those who lost their lives and loved ones in the attack As a responsible medium, we also took it upon ourselves to question whether we are better prepared.
