MUMBAI: Toronto Hard Rock band Diemonds has been hard at work over the past few months recording their second record, "The Bad Pack," set to hit the streets in February 2011. The new songs are heavier, catchier and showcase the band's growth as musicians and individuals. It features the lead track "Take on the Night," which can be streamed free at http://www.diemonds.net NOW!

"The Bad Pack" has been a labour of love, written during stints on the road, including a tour of India last year, and recorded with no outside funding or assistance whatsoever. It's been co-produced by Diemonds and by Juno-nominated recording engineer Jon Drew (The Arkells, Tokyo Police Club, F*cked Up), and will be mixed by Eric Ratz (Billy Talent, Cancer Bats), and mastered by Harry Hess of Harem Scarem.

To help cover the costs of recording and putting out "The Bad Pack," the band has started a pledge drive on Kickstarter.com, a site that allows fans, friends and supporters of independent, creative ideas to financially back the project. In exchange, backers will receive advance copies of the album, exclusive merch and other cool stuff! Check it out, support local rock n' roll and please help Diemonds spread the word about the pledge drive by linking http://www.tinyurl.com/diemondsdrive on your social networking sites!! Only 20 days left!

Diemonds will celebrate the holidays with a rare, free hometown show for fans in Toronto: Friday December 17 @ The Bovine Sex Club. Recently signed to NYC-based TKO Booking (Motorhead, Buckcherry, Anthrax), the release of their album will be followed by an 8-week winter tour, spanning the eastern US and Canada.
