MUMBAI: After the resounding success of Khosla Ka Ghosla, Dil Kabbadi & Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, the man behind the music – Dhruv Dhalla is back with his quirkiest best body of work till now – Tere Bin Laden. He has composed two tracks for the runaway hit – Shor Sharaba & Kukduk

The movie is a success, and the music & background score have been appreciated by the masses as well as the classes. The whacky comical sensibilities of Dhruv have ensured that there is a humorous feel to the album.

There is a lot of influence of world music in this project – a heavy dose of jazz & blues also makes its way into the background score. It has elements of a James Bondish theme & even a snake charmers theme for the main character. While in solidarity this may seem a bit quirky, it complements the onscreen madness. Says Dhruv, It is like watching a live Archie comic  Imagine the kind of music that would go while reading your favourite comic....

His two songs, Shor Sharaba & Kukduk have also found favour with audience in the cinema halls & the crazy antics on-screen reflect the mood of the two compositions very well. Shor Sharaba has potential to be remixed & get people to set the dance floor on fire in nightclubs across the city. Kukduk is a song that has been completely based on the crowing of the morning hen. It has a completely earthy & grounded feel. It is definitely going to appeal to the North Indian Delhi-Punjabi belt.

It is an absolute privilege and honour to be featured alongside stalwarts like Shankar Eshaan and Loy on the same album, it really is very thrilling... adds Dhruv.

"Music is my escape route to solace…it's my own little world, where my innermost emotions come alive" says Dhruv. One can only wonder how Dhruv plans to push the envelope even further with upcoming projects.
