Sony launches Xplod In-Car music system

MUMBAI: Sony has announced its entry into the car music accessory segment, with the launch of the Xplod CDX -GT595 UI & CDX-GT696 UI In-car CD receiver.

The New CDX -GT595 UI Audio receiver comes with One Wire Technology with which users can directly connect their iPod and allows them to control all its functions and even charge it. With the unique ZAPPIN function, they can continue to play a series of short music clips from music library until you find that favorite song to match their mood. The receiver can even support a variety of formats including MP3, WMA, and AAC. The receiver even comes with front USB Plug and Quick browser. Also if users want to experiment a little with style, they can go for 'flip down' CDX-GT 696 UI instead of the usual inside-out design which comes with a larger display and a cover to protect the CD Slot from dust.

Sony has also come up with New Multi Disc MEX-DV1606U which is a CD, VCD and DVD Player combined. The new product offer multi-channel playback and single wire connection to improve performance & connectivity. The USB Slot lets users play MPEG4 & DIVIX files as well.

Another product by the company is XS-GTX120LT subwoofer which comes in Hexagonal Cylindrical design to fit in any type of boot space. The subwoofer delivers sound of 1100W of pure bass power and is made of wood to provide good music listening experience to the consumers.

The music system is priced between Rs. 6490- Rs.11,990.
