MUMBAI: Unveiling its Diva collection Samsung has launched two new handsets to lure its female consumers. High on looks quotient Diva s7070 and Diva s5150 are the new handests that are added to the Diva collection which the mobile handset manufacturer plans to launch every year
The Diva S7070 and Diva S5150 sport 2.8... and 2.2... TFT LCD displays, correspondingly which deliver images in resolutions of 240 x 320p. The storage is cited as 40MB user memory that can be expanded by up to 8GB microSD capacity. Videos may be recorded in MPEG4 and H.263 formats. They operate within the EDGE/GPRS Class 12 Tri-band 900/1800/1900 network.

The handset's messaging functions allows for SMS, EMS, MMS as also MIM in the case of Diva S5150. Value added features encompass Fake Call, SOS message, mobile tracker, speaker phone and more. Users are proffered Bluetooth v2.1, USB 2.0, WAP and Java MIDP 2.1 connectivity with both devices. They also incorporate music players and FM along with AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, MP3, and MIDI ring-tone compatibility. The S7070 and S5150 are powered by 960mAh and 800mAh batteries, respectively.
Both phones' chassis display attractively embossed 3D quilted back covers, with the S7070 and S5150 painted in shades of pearly-white and shiny silver-tones, correspondingly. The S7070 has dimensions measuring 101mm x 54.8mm x 13.4mm and weighs in at 94gms. The S5150 comes in dimensions of 47mm x 94mm x 17.4mm and tips the scale at just 82.8gms.
Samsung's Diva Collection 2010 will hit shelves across the Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine and other European nations in January 2010 before it debuts in Southeastern Asia and China.
