Creative unveils Zen X-Fi in Indian market

Creative has launched the Zen X- Fi digital media player in the Indian market. The player is designed with expandable storage via an SD card slot and an easy-to-use interface for those who don't want to work with a touch screen 

The player is compatible with MP3, WMA, AAC audio formats and WMV, AVI, MJPEG, MPEG4-SP, DivX 4 and 5 and XviD video formats. It also has built in FM with 32 presets and a built in microphone for voice recording 

The player comes with 'Crystallizer' and 'Expand' equalizers for high sound quality. It comes with EP-830 ear phone and built in speakers. In addition, the player also includes a Creative application that allows users to organize, CD and playlist creation, and transfer of a wide variety of video formats.

Creative Labs Asia associate marketing manager for India Leonard Yap said, ?“We're very excited to achieve this breakthrough of adding our X-Fi audio technology to a Zen player, setting the highest standard in audio quality for portable music players?

?“Some of the top recording artists in the music industry are very outspoken about the poor quality of digital music. We addressed the issue of the poor quality of digital music by inventing X-Fi technology, which restores the quality of music that is lost during the digital ripping process, and now for the first time ever we've been able to implement this technology in a Zen,? continued Yap.

The player features An SD card slot so you can add more music, video or photos to the player and Wi-Fi. It has a 2.5-inch TFT display with 16.7 million colour support for an excellent viewing experience with videos and album.
