RAM WK 2/11: AIR, Fever gain this week

MUMBAI: Fever 104 FM has gained market share in three metros of Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata, while AIR stations have gained in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore per Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 2 of 2011 (9 to 15 Jan 2011) across all people 12+ at all places of listening. Radio Mirchi, while still a strong Number 1 in Delhi, dropped 1.5% from its city-leading market share of 23.7% to reach 22.2%, and is still the Number One, ahead of Fever FM which has a 19.2% market share. AIR FM Gold, with 17.7%, is close behind Fever FM.

Summary: Per RAM Data for Week 2 of 2011 (9 to 15 January 2011) all 4 markets, all audiences, all places of listening.

(1)   Mumbai: Fever FM - 0.8; AIR FM1-Rainbow – 0.7; Akashavani – 0.7

(2)   Delhi: AIR FM2-Gold – 0.6; Fever FM – 0.4; Oye! – 0.4; Radio One – 0.3; AIR FM1-Rainbow - 0.2

(3)   Kolkata: Aamar FM - 0.6; Fever FM – 0.2

(4)   Bangalore: Radio Mirchi - 0.4, AIR FM1-Rainbow – 0.3; Radio City – 0.3; Radio Indigo - 0.3; Gyan Vani - 0.2
 

Drops in the 4 metros (at =/> 0.2% of own share):

(1)   Mumbai: Oye! – 1.0; Radio One – 0.6; AIR FM2-Gold – 0.3; Radio Mirchi – 0.2; Red FM – 0.2
