Big FM tops in Mumbai, Nasha at 4th in Delhi

MUMBAI: Big FM held its position strong at the top in Mumbai with 0.7 per cent growth leading to 19.1 per cent shares and T.S.L. of 6.3 during week 17 (dated 17 April to 23 April). Radio City (shares - 17.2 per cent; T.S.L. - 5.31) dropped 0.3 per cent in shares compared to the last week, resulting a wider gap to the top. Fever FM finished the week at the third position with shares of 14.7 per cent and T.S.L. of 6.26. Radio Mirchi and Red FM followed at the fourth and fifth positions respectively with shares 14.5 per cent and 10.5 per cent respectively. Oye! FM retained the last position in Mumbai.

HT Media's Radio Nasha that debuted at sixth position in Delhi charts last week, jumped to the fourth position with the improved shares of 11.7 per cent and T.S.L. of 3.23. In a city dominated by Fever FM at the top position (shares - 18.4 per cent, T.S.L. - 4.39), Nasha's growth comes as a welcoming development. Radio City climbed up a position to the second place, thanks to the shares reaching 13 per cent. Radio Mirchi - displaced by Radio City - ended up at the third position with shares of 12 per cent and T.S.L. of 3.11. Red FM and Big FM followed Radio Nasha at fifth and sixth positions with the shares of 10.1 per cent and 9.7 per cent respectively. Oye! FM and Hit 95 secure positions in the bottom three again.

In Kolkata, Radio Mirchi continues its impressive run at the top with 17.9 per cent shares and T.S.L. of 4.1. Big FM retained the second position with 16.9 per cent shares, and Fever FM finishes at the third position. Oye! FM, Aamar FM and Red FM finish the week at third, fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Bengaluru had a similar top three throughout the year so far, and Radio City remained at the top with 23.8 per cent shares. Big FM replaced Radio Mirchi at the second position with rise in shares leading to 18.9 per cent, opposed to Mirchi's 18.2 per cent. With 15.1 per cent and 4.7 per cent respectively, Fever FM and Red FM retain the fourth and fifth positions, whereas Radio Indigo finished the week 17 at the bottom posiiton.
