Big FM earns top honours at ACEF awards

MUMBAI: Big FM, has bagged ten awards, including four Golds, three Silvers, two Bronzes and Most Admired Customer Engaging Radio Station title, at the Asian Customer Engagement Forum and Awards (ACEF) in Mumbai on 25 April . ACEF Awards recognizes excellence in the field of customer engagement campaigns and activities across Asia. It provides an ideal platform for recognition and learning in perhaps the most critical, emerging area of content creation.

Big FM National Business Head Ashwin Padmanabhan said, "We are extremely proud to have won ten awards on a global platform. Our performance proves that we are on the right path, creating and working on path-breaking campaigns. Big FM's campaign for OLX, 'Keemat Bhi Kuchh Keemti Bhi', which was hosted by RJ Annu Kapoor and storyteller Neelesh Misra on their award winning shows, Suhaana Safar and Yaadon Ka Idiot Box, won the radio station two Golds in the Best Creativity and Best Promotions categories. This is the second award for Kapoor who was recently adjudged RJ of the Year. While 'Radio ki Pehli Picture', the first ever radio movie, bagged top honours for Best Innovation, 'Kudiyaan Di Lohri', a campaign dedicated to the girl child, shone bright for 'Best Use of CSR'.

On this joyous occasion OLX India CEO Amarjit Singh Batra said, "Keemat Bhi, Kuchh Keemti Bhi is a special campaign for us, highlighting the deeper emotional benefits of OLX. We are thrilled to receive the overwhelming response from the Big FM listeners as well as the industry. The radio station won three Silver awards for 'Big Chandigarh Marathon', which had actor Gul Panag as the face of the campaign (Best Use of Celebrity); 'Code Red with Richa Anirudh' (Best Innovation) and 'Sellers Wanted' campaign for OLX (Best Promotion).

The two Bronzes came from Big FM's women's empowerment campaign for Fair & Lovely, 'Lagi Duniya se Shart' (Best Innovation) and 'Snapdeal Dil ki Deal' (Best Promotion).

This year started on a glorious note with the brand winning the FLAME Awards, the Golden Mike Awards and earning the top spot as India's Most Trusted Radio Brand.
