92.7 BIG FM Bengaluru takes up the initiative of #Swacchatantra on 72nd Independence Day

MUMBAI: ‘Tryst with Destiny’, a speech rendered by our first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was broadcast on Radio at the strike of midnight in 1947. Power and reach of radio have been well established for past 72 years. As he spoke of Swatantrata in that speech, now people of Bengaluru will hear about #Swacchatantra through 92.7BIG FM on this Independence Day.

In a well-planned mission, to keep the country clean and starting from home-ground, BIG FM, which has a strong connect with the city, urged to monitor nine locations for next 72 hours to be cleaned. This activity will be held from 13 to 15 August and will be hosted by one of the most loved MJs in Bengaluru, MJ Shruti. MJ Shruti, who is known as Pat Pat Pataki, along with the BIG FM Listeners, Corporater/MLAs, and people will be coming together at these nine locations to make them Swacch.

Renowned MLAs C. N. Ashwath Narayan, Uday Garudachar, Ramalinga Reddy, Munniratna among other politicians and Hat-trick Hero Shivarajkumar, Actor Diganth has extended their support for the initiative.

Speaking on the initiative, superstar Shivarajkumar said, "My 100 percent support goes towards such a great initiative as Swacchatantra. We should not only aim to keep our society clean but also change our mindset towards not polluting the environment. The change has to come from us. This is a great Initiative, and I wish, all the very best to Pat Pat Pataki Shruti and her team."
