MUMBAI: India's biggest singing talent hunt Radio City Super Singer (Season 8) reached its crescendo with a grand finale that culminated in Delhi on 17 September 2016.The ultimate winner Nandini Sharma is a Faridabad-based singer who is studying in Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, Haryana, India.

The finale was held at Pacific Mall, Delhi where the judges and the audience grooved to the tunes of the five finalists of Radio City Super Singer 8.  Madhur Dheer, Nandini Sharma, Abdul Samad Khan, Nitin Shukla and Tripti Garg were the top five singers. The magical duo Sajid-Wajid crowned the ultimate winner Nandini Sharma with a cash prize of one lakh and a lot more.

The 8th Season of Radio City Super Singer presented by LuvIt Chocolates saw five weeks of intense competition across the country. In this eighth year, across all 28 cities, Radio City Super Singer witnessed an overwhelming response picking the best talent from each city, judged by a panel of the eminent jury from the music industry took the competition to next level. Aspiring singers registered through digital platform – PlanetRadiocity.com, SMS, calls, on the go auditions and by walking into the Radio City Studio, in all 28 cities. After the cut-throat competition between the talented singers, the top five contenders were given a chance to showcase their singing ability On Air in each of the city and win votes from the listeners.
