MUMBAI: Rajasthan headquartered FM Tadka has planned to celebrate the entire week leading up to Mother's Day on 8 May 2016.

The radio station has invited listeners to share their special moments with their mothers. These will be augmented by the creative team, packaged and put on air and eventually sent back to the writers for them to share with their mothers. FM Tadka programming head Praveen Sharma told Radioandmusic.com, “After listening to the promos in Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota and Raipur our official mailbox and social media accounts are packed with listeners’ responses. Other than on-air shows, the packaged capsules were also broadcast through official numbers of Tadka to all four cities for people to mark Mothers Day”.

"The station like every year, is committed to creating a special day for mothers with their children, where both have to register with the station for a special show, ‘Mother’s Day Out Season-3’ with RJ’. We aim to provide a day full of fun games, fun activities, mother’s fashion show, food, etc.," added Praveen.

Another social initiative the FM station undertook was a special campaign ‘Selfie with Mother’, where Facebook users uploaded selfies with their mothers and tag FM Tadka. The winner will be chosen on the basis of the maximum likes the picture gets and stands to win gifts like washing machines and phones.
