Vividh Bharati goes live in Delhi on FM mode

MUMBAI: After recently going live in several regions of the country, Vivdh Bharati has now been made available in Delhi in FM mode. The channel has completed its testing.

Prasar Bharati CEO Jawhar Sircar confirmed the news to Radioandmusic.com that the channel has gone live. “We did the test signals, and we will inform the Ministry and if they want to announce it formally, they can do so.” The FM mode will help the channel reach out to audiences that depend on mobile phones for consumption of radio content.

A Vividh Bharati channel was made available in Mumbai formally on 18 March on 102.8 MHz. Other cities in which the channel is available in FM mode include metros like Kolkata and Chennai.
