9XO starts fan engagement property 9XO Dubsmash 2015

MUMBAI: Festivals have always given brands an opportunity to interact with customers. Companies come up different schemes, programs, and activities to engage with viewers. Social media is ever growing in importance for brand promotion initiatives. Keeping that in mind, Indian English music television channel 9XO has come with a fan engagement programme '9XO Dubsmash Best of 2015' pertaining to its countdown of the Top 50 songs of 2015

This year fans and viewers of 9XO have to send their Dubsmash entries to #9XODubsmash2015. The channel will be putting up a list of the Top 50 songs of 2015 on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Viewers of 9XO have to Dubsmash their own version of the songs and mail them to the channel. Songs will be played through the day and Dubsmash versions will be played between the songs. The first week playout of songs will be between ranks #50 to #40, week two will have #40 to #30, week three will have #20 to #10, and #10 to #1 ranked numbers will be played in the fourth week of December. The complete list of Top 50 songs with the Dubsmash will be played on 31 December, 2015 and 1 January, 2016 on the channel.

Speaking about the programming, 9XO programming head Clyde D’souza said, "This a fan engagement property we have started with regards to the new year. As we list down the top 50 of 2015 in upcoming weeks, this property will allow our audience to be a part of the channel. The most creative and enjoyable Dubsmash will be played on the channel in between the shows. We are using social media platforms Facebook and Twitter for the entries, which makes it easy for our channel to interact with fans and viewers."

The Dubsmashes will be played four times during the day - at 12 pm, 2 pm ,4 pm and 7 pm between 7 December, 2015 and 1 January, 2016.
