MUMBAI: 9XM, 9X Jhakaas, 9X Jalwa and 9XO will make this Diwali a special one for all their viewers with special programming for the festival.

9XM has created a special music video titled ‘Dilwali Diwali’ which will showcase the financially stable celebrating Diwali with the under privileged. The music video will highlight the importance of including the less privileged in celebrations.

9X Jhakaas, the Marathi music channel, has an annual property called ‘Jhakaas Dream Diwali’. This is based on the premise that the festival should be a dream Diwali for people who do not get to celebrate the festival. Thus, this year, 9X Jhakaas has associated with an NGO called Dilasa, to celebrate Diwali with the farmers and their families. The channel has roped in actors from Marathi films who are urging viewers to donate towards the farmers. The Diwali celebrations with farmers will be aired through a half hour special on 13th November on 9X Jhakaas.

9XO will be airing ‘Be The Bomb!’, which will have a bomb playlist featuring hits like ‘Lean On’, ‘Can't Feel My Face’, ‘Locked Away’ and many more.

Since, 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' is releasing on Diwali, 9X Jalwa will be airing the show ‘Prem Ki Diwali.’ This will be two hours of ‘Prem’, celebrations, songs and interviews. All the songs from Rajshri Productions films that feature Salman Khan will be played in between Khan and Sonam Kapoor’s interview. The channel will also air ‘Prem Special Mini Recharge’ and as the name suggests it will be dedicated to ‘Prem’. Song snippets of Khan’s songs from his films under Rajshri will be run in a 3-5 minute capsule.

Apart from these, the channel will also have ‘Patakha Kudi’, ‘Rocket Mera Naam’ and ‘Halkat-Sawaal’. Under ‘Patakha Kudi’, all the ‘patakhas’ of Bollywood, right from the 90s until now, will be celebrating Diwali on 9X Jalwa, while ‘Rocket Mera Naam’ will play songs featuring Bollywood actors. There will also be a Diwali special episode of ‘Halkat Sawaal’.
