Qyuki creates 'Jammin' with YouTube music stars

Digital broadcast network and talent agency Qyuki created its newest initiative - Jammin - that would feature several Indian young music stars discovered through YouTube.

Jammin, a 90-day initiative, will have budding YouTube music creators collaborating with legendary Bollywood composers.

"The creators are Qyuki customers. Jammin was created with an intent to provide as much to the both set of creators involved," Samir Bangara, Qyuki co-founder and managing director,  told the media at an announcement in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Qyuki could also soon venture into Bollywood and TV space. "With creative icons like Shekhar Kapur and  A R Rahman on board, it provides us an added advantage creatively," Bangara said.

Jammin starts on 19 August 2016. The initiative will produce 10 tracks. A mega concert has been planned for 11 November 2016, to be held at the NSCI dome in Mumbai. Rahman, Sulaiman Merchant, Arjun Kanungo, Mumbai's Finest, Jonita Gandhi and Clinton Cerejo are likely to be a part of the line-up.
