Saavn to stream Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat'

MUMBAI: Digital streaming platform- Saavn will now stream ‘Mann Ki Baat’, a popular radio program conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on All India Radio (AIR). This makes Saavn the first digital platform to offer its listeners the radio show. Previous episodes of the programme have already been made available on Saavn.

With this, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ will now be available in 24 different languages and will be accessible to 18 million users of Saavn. The announcement came right after the streaming service decided to venture into something beyond just music.

Saavn, Global Chief Operating Officer, Mahesh Narayanan said, “We are honoured to have Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s program, ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ streaming on Saavn. This is in line with his vision of a ‘Digital India’ wherein technology can effect a qualitative change in peoples’ lives. As one of the most influential personalities on social media globally, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has continuously encouraged the use of digital platforms.”

Recently, at the ‘Audio On’ Summit, Saavn declared that it has bagged commentary rights for games played by Mumbai FC. The company has also partnered with Miss Malini for carrying audio content created by them during the course of ‘Bigg Boss Nau’.
