Sangeeta Chacko receives the esteemed 'World Women Leadership Super Achiever Award 2017'

MUMBAI: Percept Limited's Corporate Communication Head Sangeeta Chacko received the distinguished 'World Women Leadership Super Achiever Award 2017' at the  fourth edition of the World Women Leadership Congress and Awards held at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai on 17 February 2017.

Sangeeta Chacko received the award for her exceptional contribution and excellence achieved in the domain of brand communications and public relations spanning multiple industries across India and South Asia over the past two decades. The award acknowledged her assiduous efforts and achievements as a leading female protagonist in the business communications, academic and corporate social responsibility sectors pan India.

The award which carried a citation recognizing the valuable contributions made by Sangeeta Chacko to the Society and Industry at large was presented by Dr. Dennis Reina, Co-Founder, Reina Consultancy, UK, and Jury members of the World Women Leadership Congress.

The ‘World Women Leadership Super Achiever Award’ acknowledged Sangeeta Chacko’s vibrant and proactive role in the Communications domain and paid tribute to her versatile and pioneering styles of originality, creativity, vision and professionalism over the past 24 years. Her growing involvement and contribution towards the educational sector, small and medium enterprises, content generation for the industry and commitment to corporate social responsibility platforms served as further testimony to her growing impact and dedication to social and national welfare.

The ‘4th World Women Leadership Congress and Awards’ (WWLCA) event is instituted and supported by The World Federation of Marketing Professionals, Stars of the Industry Group, Asian Confederation of Business, World Sustainability Congress and the World CSR Day. The Theme for WWLCA for 2017 was ‘You We Can’.  The objective of the event was to identify and celebrate the outstanding leadership and achievements demonstrated by women leaders. Leaders who are reflected by their distinct innovations and initiatives displayed across various private and public sectors and philanthropists. 

The WWLCA event was attended by guests from over 50 countries and celebrated outstanding women professionals across the globe who demonstrated consistent vision, flair, acumen, and professionalism. The award recognized excellent leadership and management skills displayed in an organization / Institution, and efforts undertaken towards society at large, thereby enabling rapid change and achieving phenomenal results for the betterment of society and women at large. Other vital parameters in declaring the winners included leadership, ethics, business acumen, social impact, charisma, a visionary approach, and being a change-agent in society.  

The 2016-17 WWLCA Jury comprised of eminent personalities spanning senior industry leaders, researchers, and academicians including Nina Woodard, Dave Porter, Jonathan Peters, Andrew Kelly, Dr. Arun Arora, Dr. Harish Mehta, Michael Wong, Dr. Saugata Mitra, and Dr. Chandramauli Dwivedi.
