NarcÝs Rebollo is president of Universal Music Iberian Peninsula

MUMBAI: Universal Music Iberian Peninsula appointed Narcís Rebollo as president of the company. Before taking his present post, he held the position of MD at Universal Music Spain. Based in Madrid, he will report to Universal Music Latin America and Iberian Peninsula’s CEO and chairman Jesús López.

Rebollo will be in-charge of the company operations in Spain and Portugal.

Rebollo said, "I want to thank Jesús López for his continued trust and support.  I am looking forward to working with the brilliant team at Universal Music Spain and Portugal in this exciting new role for me."

His contribution to music industry started with independent music company Divucsa in his native Barcelona. Subsequently, he moved to BMG in the Catalonia region and managed the marketing and promotion in the region. In 1995, he was appointed as the MD of EDM label Max Music. The important highlight of Rebollo’s career was his role with Vale Music as the founding member and VP of the indie music company. The company specialised in EDM and TV formats. In 2006, Vale Music was acquired by Universal Music Spain, followed by his promotion to the role of director of new business and GTS for the company in 2010.
