Markus Schulz to henceforth release all original record under Coldharbour Recordings

MUMBAI: After separating from Armin van Buuren's Armada Music, American trance DJ Markus Schulz's Coldharbour Recordings formed an association with Dutch DJ- Tiesto's Black Hole Recordings early this year. Schulz revealed that from now on, every one of his studio albums or EPs will be released under Coldharbour Recordings’s association with Black Hole Recordings.

“While my remixes of songs will release under various labels, all of my original tracks will be released under Coldharbour Recordings,” said Schulz. He created his own label called Coldharbour Recordings in 2005, which was sub-labeled under Armin van Buuren’s Armada Music. However, in 2013 Coldharbour Recordings stopped its association with Armada Music.

Schulz further named the various musicians that have been signed under his label. “We have DJs like Nifra, Mr. Pit, Fisherman & Hawkings, Purple Stories, Elevation, Solid Stone and many more.”

Having already visited India before as a part of Sunburn and Enchanted valley Carnival (EVC), Schulz is currently touring India as a part of Vh1 Supersonic Club Nights series in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and Delhi. He said that during this tour, he will premiere a brand new original track called ‘Bombay’, which is a part of his ‘City Series Compilation’, an original track composed on his experience in the city.

He also said that his first event in Mumbai will be recorded live for broadcast over 100 radio stations across the world, citing Digitally Imported (DI) and SiriusXM as the main stations.
