Pay-to-view service Letv to stream 2015 Global Citizen Festival

NEW DELHI: The live concert of Chinese pop singer Li Yuchun made online pay-to-view history with his concert themed 'Why me' attracting nearly five million pay-to-view online viewers worldwide on Letv's platform.

From 19-28 September this year, Letv had a live-streaming schedule of 20 shows, including the 2015 Global Citizen Festival headlined by Beyonce and Coldplay on September 26 in New York City, with 18 yuan (US$2.8) charged for each show.

Since its establishment in 2004, Letv has become a well-known company in many fields, as each of its more than 10 sub-companies is an industry leader and redefining the industries it plays in.
