PlanetRadiocity launches its 14th web station- 'Radio City Rock'

MUMBAI: PlanetRadiocity has added yet another web radio station to its list, bringing its total now to 14 online stations. The new online radio station, called 'Radio City Rock', will aim to cater to the music preferences of rock music fans by featuring some of the biggest international rock artistes including Pink Floyd, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, Foo Fighters, Train and many others.

Speaking of the launch of 'Radio City Rock', Radio City business head, digital media and new business, Rachna Kanwar said, "As we expand, we would like to go deeper into categories and cater to a wide variety of music fans. Rock music has never gone out of fashion and still continues to be loved by millions across the globe. For Rock music fans, we have made a very concise effort while deciding the bands and songs to be played on 'Radio City Rock'. The stream will have a mix of bands right from the 70's to the latest ones."

Additionally, the music portal has also brought back an exclusive stream for the festive season- 'Radio City Christmas'. The special web radio station has a curated playlist of both, classic Christmas carols and the more contemporary Christmas songs.

With the additions of 'Radio City Rock' and 'Radio City Christmas', PlanetRadiocity now features 15 web stations. Since launching in 2008, the music portal has grown to become the country's largest web radio network. Other online stations offered include 'Radio City Freedom', Radio City Indipop', 'Radio City Fun ka Antenna', 'Radio City Samaran', 'Radio City International', 'Radio City Classics', 'Radio City Dance', 'Radio City Hindi' and Radio 'City Love'. It also offers regional music with the stations 'Radio City Tamil', Radio City Kannada' and 'Radio City Malayalam'.
