Actors who crooned numbers for movies

MUMBAI: If you think Alia Bhatt and Sharaddha Kapoor are the only ones who have rendered their vocals for the movies, then think again. Radioandmusic.com brings to you the actors who have swapped the camera with mic.

Amitabh Bachchan:

Big B is known for his baritone voice but was awesome behind the mic. Being a narrator for films like 'Lagaan', he has also rendred his vocals for songs like 'Rang Barse' from the film 'Silsila' and 'Chalo Jane Jane Do' from 'Bhootnath'.

Priyanka Chopra:

The former miss world, Priyanka Chopra has not only sizzled the silver screen with her acting skills but also with her singing. After receiving an overwhelming response for her singles 'Exotic', 'In My City' and 'I Can't Make You Love Me', the diva also has sung a track 'Chaoro (Lori)' in her upcoming Movie Mary Kom.

Aamir Khan:

The 'Dhoom 3' actor, Aamir Khan had crooned the hit number 'Aati Kya Khandala' from the film 'Ghulam'. The track went on to become one of the biggest chartbusters of the year 1998.

Farhan Akhtar:

The 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' actor Farhan Akhtar, wears a hat of a singer, director and a writer. Akhtar had sung six tracks in the film 'Rock On!!'. He had also sung 'Senorita' with Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol in the film 'Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara'.

Kareena Kapoor:

The 'Singham Returns' star Kareena Kapoor, had also tested her vocals for the song 'Jab Nahi Aye The Tum' for the film 'Dev'. The film did not do well at the box office but, Kapoor's singing skills were admired.

Juhi Chawla:

This bubbly actress, Juhi Chawla has been learning music for quite some time now. Chawla sung the track 'Chalo Jane Do' for the film 'Bhootnath' along with Amitabh Bachchan.

Salman Khan:

It was in the movie 'Kick' that 'Tere Naam' actor sang a couple of tracks like 'Hangover' and 'Jumme Ki Raat Hai'.
