Samsung launches new affordable KitKat phone: Galaxy Star 2 Plus

MUMBAI: After months of anticipation, Samsung has finally launched the Android Kitkat powered Galaxy Star 2 Plus. The device is priced at Rs. 7, 335.

The Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus features a 4.3 inch display with WVGA (800x480 pixels) resolution. It also has a 512 MB RAM and a 1.2 GHz single core processor. It features a 4 GB internal storage and 32 GB expandable storage slot.

The Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus has a 3 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, but does not include a front camera. The Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus also has an 1800 mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and a single SIM slot.

Compared to the Galaxy Star 2, the Plus model comes with a bigger and higher-res screen, a processor that is clocked at 20 per cent higher, a higher-res camera, and a bigger battery.

Without an additional 'Plus' branding, the Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus does not sport any additional features as compared to the Galaxy Star 2.
