MUMBAI: Musician brothers and respected duo in the industry, Salim and Sulaiman Merchant have launched their new single 'Allahu Akbar' with a music video.

Published on 28 July, the duo's YouTube channel posted, "On the glorious occasion of Eid we present to you our humble offering - Allahu Akbar". The video to the single released on Monday to coincide with the Eid festivities. 'Allahu Akbar' means 'God is great' and the duo have offered this song on this auspicious day that marks the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

In this beautiful composition, Salim-Sulaiman belt out an extremely melodious tune with their devotion clearly emanating from their voices. Highlighting on the vocals and keeping it mellow, the instrumentation of the song is quite mellow and puts the listener into a trance. The song, coming from Bollywood music composers, is a very unique track and promises a different kind of zeal and sound.

The fans have positively reacted to the track and the video. Many have commented along the lines of, "This is a perfect gift on Eid" and shared Eid wishes with each other; as well as, sent their good wishes to the duo.
