MUMBAI: American pop star Katy Perry unveiled a two minute teaser in which she has dressed up as five different personalities, making her completely unrecognisable. The teaser is part of her music video 'Birthday', which will be released this week.

The five characters that she plays in the two minute clip titled 'The World's Worst Birthday Party Entertainers' are Goldie, Yosef, Kriss, Ace, and Mandee.

Perry put out the teaser on her Twitter account, and introduced the clip's five characters as her "insane friends".

She gave fans a little idea of the upcoming video tweeting, “The video for Birthday is the most insane one I've ever done.”

The 'Roar' singer dresses as Goldie 'The Dancer', Yosef Shulem 'The MC', Kriss 'The Clown', Ace 'The Animal Trainer' and Mandee ' The Princess', all of whom talk about their life.

'Birthday' managed to place on the single charts in France and South Korea soon after her album 'Prism' was launched. The song is written by Perry along with Bonnie McKee and is produced by Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and Cirkut.

A lyric video for 'Birthday' was released on 10 April and has garnered more than 10 million views till date.

'Birthday' is part of Perry's fourth studio album 'Prism' which was released last October. By end of December 2013, the album had sold 2.8 million copies worldwide.
